What It Really Is

Assalamualaikum dear healthy readers!

Alhamdulillah,i woke up this morning, feeling much,MUCH better than yesterday.
My appetite was back (i lost my appetite yesterday.Didn't eat anything except 1/8 of a McChicken and few sips of chicken porridge) and i felt like eating lontong goreng.
So that's what mum's cooking at the moment.

Then as i was watching Early Edition on TV this morning,my stomach made an encore orchestra performance.
I drank some milk but everything seems...i don't know.. undigested?
Its like its all stagnant in there.

Then my giddy spells returned.Dad reminded mum to tell me to take lots of rest.
I will,insyaAllah.After posting this entry.

I was talking to Hudzy dearest this morning.Felt much brighter when i got to talk to her.
Then she asked me what has caused the stomach flu.
I told her the truth;
I don't know.
So,feeling curious,i googled it up and found this short article on Stomach Flu.

Stomach flu is an illness called gastroenteritis (gas-tro-en-tuh-rye-tus), which is usually caused by a virus. [ohh...]
Someone who gets gastroenteritis might have stomach cramps, nausea , throwing up, and diarrhea .[yep.dah kena dah..] He or she will probably feel pretty sick for a day or 2 but will then get better. [insyaAllah, amin. ]

There is no vaccine or cure for gastroenteritis.[yips!] If you have it, you'll want to rest until you feel better. [ahh..ok..] If you're throwing up, don't eat solid food.[lontong goreng...] Instead, sip fluids, such as water, or chew on bits of ice.

Your mom or dad also might give you an oral rehydration solution. That's a fancy name for those special fruit-flavored drinks and Popsicles that contain carbohydrates and electrolytes - stuff your body can get low on when you're dehydrated from diarrhea or throwing up.

Once you stop throwing up, drink more clear foods and drinks such as warm chicken broth, popsicles, and gelatin. When you start to feel better, try eating bland foods like toast, pretzels or crackers, bananas, and plain noodles. As your digestive system returns to normal, you can gradually go back to eating what you usually do.

So,that's what it really is.
Upon reading that,i really have to go rest right now.
Not feeling too good.
