Free money anyone?

Assalamualaikum wr wb.

My ustaz shared a perspective with my class the other day and I feel obliged to share it with you.
(whoever you are reading this. :))

Something good with greater rewards that we sometimes feel reluctant to perform.
Sometimes we push ibadah secondary to worldly acts.
Sometimes we like to say "ah,maybe later" to ibadah.
The question is- Why?

Why push it away when we know how good it is?
Why perform it later when we know what benefits it will bring to us?
Why do we feel so reluctant and sometimes even dilly-dally in performing our ibadah?

Could it be because we can't see the deeds (pahala) that we receive for our ibadah?
If that's the case, my ustaz has given an analogy that for me,is very much effective.
As we know, reading or reciting even a single huruf from the Quran and we will receive one deed.
So let's imagine that one deed is an invicible $1.
So reciting bismillahirrahmanirrahim will get us invisible $20.
Imagine that! a single word and we receive "$20"
And we haven't even started reciting the surah yet.

What about when we're praying?
Even for subuh prayers,we recite surah Al-Fatihah twice along with 2 other surahs.
How much invicible money will we get?
Wallahua'lam- depends on the length of our surah, right?Hence, longer surah= more invicible money.
Imagine those money dropping into your pocket out of nowhere...
Imagine having a heavier pocket everytime you perform an ibadah...
Imagine being rich with deeds in the hereafter!

InsyaAllah, hopefully this short entry will make us more enthusiastic in performing our ibadah.
But most importantly, don't forget that the main intention of ibadah, our manifest function of ibadah, is for Allah swt.

Happy ibadah-ing! :D
